At lord’s. Every step of the manufacturing process – from the harvesting of source material to the package that leaves our units – is continually monitored and documented as per GMP guidelines.

The preparation of LORD’S MOTHER TINCTURES is a meticulous process which begins with:

• Compiling healthy herbs by subjecting them to physical, morphological and chemical testing through modern equipment like UV spectrophotometer, TLC & HPTLC.

• Acquiring EXTRA NEUTRAL ALCOHOL which is to be used for the preparation of Mother Tinctures and testing it for impurities through tests like Gas chromatography & Chemical methods.

• Next, the DM (Demineralised) water produced by our inhouse DM Water plant is subjected to Conductivity Tests.

• Thereafter, ENA and DM water is used to percolate or macerate the herbs to prepare Mother Tinctures.

• Next, hydraulic presses are used to extract tincture from the herbs.

• Once the Mother Tincture is ready, it is subjected to rigorous testing in the Quality Control department by using TLC and/or HPTLC to confirm the requisite quality.

LORD’S offers a range of about 300 mother tinctures in categories of A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and Special Category (SC) in packs of 30ml, 100ml, and 450ml.
